Summer: Summer begins from April and till to July with the temperature of 22 to 30 degree Celsius. During the summer the weather is always pleasant and ideal time to visit Triund and Indrahar Pass.
Winter: Winter is the best time to visit Mcleodganj with the temperature of -1 to 7 degree Celsius. Winter begins from October to till February and the snowfall by the end of year and continue to February.

Inside the complex one can see a monastery, a library, various stupas and temples, bookstore and café. Every part of the complex is open from tourists expect for Dalai Lama residence. A beautiful statue of Lord Buddha is situated inside the temple complex.
Dharamkot: Dharamkot is a charming place situated at a distance of 9 km from Mcleodganj which is frequently visited by the tourists from all over the world. The fort spread over an area of 4 km which is guarded by the high walls and ramparts. The fort is situated at the top of a hill where the river Banganga and Patal Ganga embrace to each other. Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple: Kaleshwar Temple is an ancient temple located in Paragpur at a distance of 8 km. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shiva Lingan is the major attraction of the temple situated on the ground.
